cost
$90 per young person (there is no GST) - covers conference attendance, resources and lunch on Day 1 and Day 2.
This fee does not include lunch on Day 3, overnight accommodation, dinner or breakfast.
There is no charge for an accompanying adult (but you still need to book a place).
how to book
Use the booking form to book a place. We cannot book or reserve a place by phone or email.
deadline?
There is no deadline for bookings, but we urge you to book well in advance as places are limited and the conference may fill quickly.

Sorry, YAPA cannot accept credit cards or online payments.
If you cannot post a cheque straight away, we suggest you book by fax so you don't miss out on a place.
what happens next?
We will reply within 5 working days. If you do not hear from us after that time, please contact us as occasionally a fax is not received.
We strongly advise against making non-refundable travel and accommodation bookings until YAPA confirms your place at the conference.

YAPA will refund your fee in full if we get your cancellation by post/ fax/ email by 19 September. After 19 September, refunds are at our discretion and will depend on the circumstances, including whether we are able to fill your place
frequently asked questions
booking more than one person
Please use a separate form for each person (young people and adults).
book a place without the young person's name or details
We understand that youth groups may need some time to identify which young people will attend.
However for legal and administrative reasons, YAPA cannot accept bookings which do not have the young person's name and all other required details.
You can transfer the booking to another young person at a later date, if you send us a booking form for the new person.
attend part-time?
The conference is designed as a complete package. We strongly encourage all young people to attend for the whole time.
We cannot reduce your fee for part-time attendance, whatever the reason.
over 18s?
We understand that many 18-25 year olds would benefit from participating in this conference. We also know that many youth groups, including youth councils, comprise young people who are both under 18 and over 18.
However YAPA limits the conference to under 18s (as of 30 September) because:
- some younger people find it easier to participate in events which are designed specifically for their age group
- child protection issues are more effectively managed with a more limited age range
- places are limited - we cannot take everyone.
Sorry, but we will not make any exceptions to this rule.
outside NSW? overseas?
YAPA is a NSW peak body and so the conference is only for young people who live in NSW, Australia. Sorry, but we will not make any exceptions to this rule.
