This document is an internal policy of YAPA. Use it to help develop your own agency's internal policies. You will have to make changes to suit your own context and any legal requirements which apply to you.
Policy
YAPA will maintain a hard copy library of relevant legislation, resources, journals, and discussion papers on issues relevant to young people and youth services.
Procedures
The YAPA library is open to staff only and is a non lending library.
The library is not open to general community members, sector workers, students or young people. Staff should re-direct inquiries for information to appropriate websites, libraries or services.
The library is organised and labelled under broad subject headings eg. health, employment, education and training.
Filing of appropriate material is to take place after each staff meeting.
