May an organisation apply?

No. The funding opportunity is only available to young people.

What is the maximum amount of funding that I may apply for?

Up to a maximum of $5,500 per project. Please see the guidelines for details.

Will a set number of projects be funded each funding round?

No. However, the selection process is fairly competitive.

If I have already started my project can I still apply for funding?

What if I do not have all my budget details yet?

Please forward all the information you are able to obtain and make a note on the budget page that it may be revised. Then forward updated accurate information as soon as possible.

Who should I use as my referees?

You should use someone who can talk about you and your ability to complete a project successfully. Also, it's important to make sure that you let the person know beforehand that you will be using them as a referee, because the selection committee may contact them to decide who receives the grants.

The Youth Participation Grants Selection Committee for the region in which you are based. The Committee will have a majority of members who are 25 years or under.

The Youth Participation Grants Selection Committee will assess all applications.  The Committee may seek to interview and/or obtain further details from applicants before the final funding decision.

When final selection decisions have been made, successful applicants will be notified by telephone and unsuccessful applicants will be notified via mail within 6 weeks after the closing date.
