As a result of a presentation given by the Regional Youth Development Officers Network (RYDON) at the recent YAPA state conference, interest to participate in our Youth Worker Code of Ethics implementation trial was expressed by many who attended.
The Code of Ethics (COE) working party, in conjunction with RYDON, invites and welcomes the participation of organisations and individuals in other regions of NSW to be part of the Youth Worker COE implementation trial.
Members of the working party are available to assist your organisation with any aspects of implementing the COE in the form of presentations to Management Committees, team meetings, staff development days etc. Please feel free to contact us if you need any information or support to participate in the trial. We would remind all potential participants that we do require a Registration of Interest from individuals and/or organisations. A registration form is available as part of the Implementation Kit and will help the working party to keep track of the process and receive feedback from as many sources as possible.
If you require any more information please contact Ellen Kavanagh 02 4934 2202 or email ydomaitland@yahoo.com.au
Kind Regards
Ellen Kavanagh
